Jim Trinque

JT is a lifelong fisherman and resident of North East Connecticut. In 2008 out of frustration for the lack of a local shop he decided to open his own business, JT's Fly Shop. Jim enjoys fishing out of his bass boat as much as he does wading in the river. Being an all around fisherman, JT can answer almost any of your questions on fly fishing, fly tying, ice fishing, and spin fishing.

Steve Babbitt
Steve Babbitt guides for JT's Fly Shop as well as  teaching tying and fly fishing classes. Steve has been fly fishing since 1976 and tying since about 1980. Steve ties many of the fly patterns we sell at the fly shop and will do custom orderes for you. Steve usually works the shop on weekends and at big events as well has helping man the both at shows. he is currently on the Flymen fishing company guide pro staff.

Stan Calabrese
Stan Calabrese is our resident salty dog at JT's he spends a great deal of time fishing saltwater both from the beach and a boat. He can help you select everything for the salt from flies to rods and lines. He can give you great advice about the best flies to match the current bait in the sound. Stan works the shop week days, some weekends and big events.

"Moose" French
Moose is our resident bass fishing expert. He has been a tournament angler all over the region for a number of years. Moose can answer any of your bass questions with a vast knowlege of the areas lakes. He can also point you in the right direction when it comes to conventional tackle
(spinning and casting) decisons as well. Moose can give you a hand with your inshore saltwater questions as well.
